Windows 10 End of Life

The end of life for Windows 10 is almost upon us, but in this case, for me, its the actual END of life. I finally just bit the bullet and wiped it out on my secondary project desktop. It was less painful than expected, though I still have some clean up things to do. My main worry was how to migrate my docker set up from the Windows 10 GUI to a CLI based Docker in Ubuntu. Blaugust 2025

Despite that I can barely keep myself motivated to post even weekly, I went ahead end signed up again for Blaugust. I did it the first year on [BloggingIntensifies] and last year on Lameazoid, and now they are one blog, so technically I did it twice here, and this will be my third year. I'm not going in with any plans. I may post once per week. Even doing some of the suggested topics feels a little cheesy because I've already done the basic "Who am I, what is Blaugust," etc topics two years now. Maybe it could motivate me…

Everything I Write About, All At Once

I feel like a broken record sometimes, but for a while now, I have been pretty heavily organization my digital stuff. It's always been "pretty organized", but I've gotten a bit lax with like, temporary dumps, and changing gears halfway and not quite committing. My latest commitment has been to Joplin. I've got... basically all of my writing, over decades, in Joplin now. I have also gone through and added tags to everything. Simple tags, which was the point, but tags. There is a bit missing. Let's do a "boring post". I bought a coffee brick. It's not fancy, it came from Aldi. Hell, it's possible this is the "least fancy" way to make coffee. おにぎり (Onigiri) aka, “Rice Balls”

I've been doing some experimenting recently making おにぎり (Onigiri) aka, "rice balls".  I've been taking it very literally as being a ball and have not added any Nori wrapping yet.  I've been just sticking with variations of tuna and mayo that I read about online.  It's a pretty simple and easy dish to make, and I end up with enough for 2-3 meals from one batch, which is nice.  Cook a cup (uncooked) or rice int he rice maker, dump it in a bowl with a can or two of tuna, spoon some mayo in, add whatever flavoring I want…

So lately I have been a bit busy in the background helping my wife and daughter with a big project. They are opening up a vintage clothing store. They already sell online, but they are now working on opening a physical store as well.
