I am not sure where I first came across this set of transforming gun toys, I may have even just came across it randomly browsing Amazon. I do know I was kind of sold on the idea in general, but really sold on it by this absurd as fuck image from Amazon.
Seriously, what the fuck.
Like a lot of goofy shit like this, I put it on a list so I would remember to occasionally look at it and never buy it. Then I was picking up some house stuff, and it was suggested, at a heavily discounted price compared to “normal”. And so hey, why not, I even had credit to use towards it.
And so now I have it. And its… a very weird set. Just as a sort of, high level overview before getting into blurbs about the individual bots. All of these are unique molds, though the legs and arms each pair together to have a similar transformation. I think its an original design as well, but Japan has a ton of random Sentai stuff I have no idea about, so it may be a knock off of some 1989s Go Kygo Ranger Power XV zord or something.
The two arm robots share a similar transformation and the two leg bots share a similar transformation. The center torso bot is fairly unique among the 5 bots. Everything has little friction pegs that hold it together that work fairly well for the smaller robots. Most of the design though ends up pretty limited in terms of any articulation, mostly because there is so much clunky kibble.
In general, the designs all remind me a lot of Gobots actually. They also all have this weird heft that kind of makes me wonder if some of the parts are metal, though they don’t really feel like metal, it may just be the paint. The box claims its metal.
They don’t really have names, though their firearm names kind of work pretty well. Some have the gun name name embossed on the side of the gun. I had to use a translator app on the instruction slip to get the gun types for the others since I am not really an expert in firearms.

- Gold Arm – Mauser Pistol
- Silver Arm – Smith & Wesson Revolver
- Brown Leg – Colt Pistol
- Black Leg – Glock Pistol
None of them are perfect, but they are all individually pretty cool.
The combined mode is where it all falls apart, literally. Everything is held together by a single nubby peg. The previously mentioned heft really hurts here as well, because these guys are way to heavy to peg together with such small pegs. It you breath at it wrong, it just falls apart. There is zero possible “play value” out of the combiner. You “assemble” it and hope it all balances, its not moving once you get it there.
Even if it did hold together, its a pretty weak design. There are basically no real feet, so its unstable, and no real joints in general, so you can’t even pose it cool. Each of the limbs is basically just “the gun mode”. Other than for the arms you release the long barrels to become funny stick forearms. The torso is essentially just the Desert Eagle robot, though there is a flip up piece from the robot’s crotch that forms a new chest.
Its incredibly lame.
As for other uses, these are sort of, “Legends sized” so larger Titan class Transformers with fingers could probably hold them like guns. I only have Trypticon and Omega Supreme, neither have proper hands. They are also pretty small to be “play guns” even for kids the size of the ones in Amazon’s horrible birthday party image. They are nowhere near the size of say, G1 Megatron.
An almost better use for them, with other toys and Transformers, would be a little gun emplacements. The combiner arms, and sort of, half transforming the legs, make them look like pretty neat little stationary guns. Its not an official feature, but looks kind of neat.
Its an amusing set, for the $10 I paid I am happy with it, much more is probably a bit too much honestly.
