I don't usually bother much with the simplified more kiddified Transformers sublines, but Cyberworld is doing some pretty neat looking stuff so I can't help but pay attention a bit. These are all very samey and I am unlikely to ever get anymore so I am just lumping these all into one ball of commentary. Transformers often has these sort of weird sublines going where the characters have some sort of gimmicky style. Mini Brands Vinyl Player

So it seems both of the major mini items companies have put out similar record player style minis essentially at the same time. Each has pluses and minuses, based on what I have read. I only have the Mini Brands one here, though I might consider the Miniverse one as well. Based on my research though, the Mini Brands one has a wider selection of mini records available, the records are slightly nicer, and it doesn't need batteries, instead it recharges via USB. Back in the earlier days of the Raspberry Pi, there was a project going around called PiGrrl. It's of course, a play on the name "Game Boy".
