Despite that I've been writing about Star Trek Discovery, what really brought me back to Star Trek was Strange New Worlds. So, how to solve the problem of "Discovery feels too advanced" and solve the problem of, "The writers want to make Star Trek but mostly ignore most established Trek canon concepts."
