For a variety of reasons, the bottom has basically dropped out on my collecting. Some of its finances based, some of it is just kind of, saturation, I guess. I also feel like my interests in what I buy has entered a kind of weird abstract and less focused area. Some things I have been somewhat keeping up interest in is props.and accessories. Maybe I will actually start using them to take cool photos more, but for now, I have been collecting them for a while. Sometimes its cheap sets from Five Below, sometimes its exotic items like a fancy little piano I picked up for very cheap at an Estate Sale (We do a lot of these).

Sometimes its a Ramen Noodle stand. Ramen has become this weird personal meme in my existence, what with the username “Ramen Junkie”. But I do like ramen, and the Japanese aesthetic, and fairly affordable little sets.
The set itself is branded for Naruto, which I have never watched any of, and have no idea what its about. It even comes with some faceplates and hands for some Naruto Figuarts. The hands come.in two sizes, which suggests they are intended for two different characters. I found they do work on other Figuarts though, so they are nicely still useful. I particularly like the hands that are holding chopsticks and have “slurping noodles.”

There are also a bunch of other relevant accessories, a bunch of empty bowls, a bunch of empty glasses, a couple of glasses with colored tops, which I assume are supposed to be some sort of shake on toppings or just, salt and pepper. There are two “Filled bowl” inserts that sit down in the bowls, and a country canister full of non removable chopsticks.

The set itself scales best with Figuarts and similar figures of course, they are slightly smaller than ‘6″ Scale’. But it’s close enough to work with larger 6″ figures, at least the shop part, the stools will be a bit small.

One really surprising part was the material the set is made from. The bar and stools are all plastic. The shop walls and roof, and a sort of Styrofoam material. Its identical to the stuff you see in 3D Puzzles. Everything fits together well, but I was under the impression the set was all plastic. One sort of interesting side effect of this, the roof is reversible. I have no idea if it’s “Naruto Relevant” but the roof has a blue and a red option.

The last bit is the shop sign, which is made of cloth. Its very nice, but it feels a little long and blocks the view of the characters sitting at the counter eating, which is a little annoying. It comes right off though if a better view is needed.

Overall, it’s a really neat set, but I am thinking it might a bit over priced given the weird Styrofoam walls. If you just display it somewhere these will certainly last, but they also could very easily be damaged with too much use. Also, assembling the roof was a bit funky, though it was stable once I actually managed to get it assembled.
