Naughty or Nice Classic Santa Clause

Naughty or Nice Classic Santa Clause

Just in time for Christmas, Fresh Monkey Fiction has put out the first wave of their first wave of their holiday themed Naught or Nice Collection. I had the Cyborg Santa on order but cancelled it because I decided I didn't really need it, but I did keep the "Classic Santa". Classic Santa, as the name suggests, if generically regular. The whole line has several themed Santas, some straight recolors, some with different heads (like Cyborg Santa having a damaged robot head) as well as some Elves and Nutcrackers. I pretty much just stuck with the basic Santa. He's useful…
Disney Ultimates Robin Hood

Disney Ultimates Robin Hood

So, wow. I feel like I am pretty good at picking out good parts of figures to keep my disappointment levels down, but this figure... I just can't. And I am not sure how this happened. One of the worst signs that a figure is a mess, is when it breaks, doing basic actions, almost right out of the package. Which happened here. I have gone through tons and tons of figures, and very few just break, right out of the package, with basic operation. Especially on a "Premium" level figure like this, the Disney Ultimates Robin Hood from Super…
Legacy Shadowstrip

Legacy Shadowstrip

My Transformers purchases these days has slowed to an absolute molasses drip. There is a lot of "cool" stuff being put out, but I often already have "good enough" versions of these characters and the prices are getting a bit too much for my taste. I do still pick some up occasionally. One that's been nagging at me a bit was the new Menasor in Transformers Legacy. The Stunticons are my favorite combiner team and up there on my favorite Transformers. I really like the Combiner Wars version of the team, though it's not perfect. The new version is designed…
Sky: Children of the Light Aurora In Game Concert Event

Sky: Children of the Light Aurora In Game Concert Event

There have been quite a few "Virtual concerts" in video games in recent years, and on December 8th, the game Sky: Children of the Light became one the games that has hosted a concert in game.  Though "Concert" feel like a bit of a stretch, it's more like a Musical Event.  Similar TO Fortnite's Soundwave Series Events.  All of the songs also seemed to just be the Studio Tracks, which was kind of a bummer.  I didn't really expect an actually live event, but a bit of a live feel to the music would have helped make it a bit…
What I’ve Been Playing Recently

What I’ve Been Playing Recently

# What I've Been Playing Recently I like the idea of this sort of regular, generic post, but I don't really want to give it a schedule, so I'm just going to throw em out whenever, for now, I think.  Considering this si the "first" one, it's also not clear what "Recently" should mean in this context.  It's my post, my blog, my rules, so I'm thinking, whatever I want to mention really. Fortnite Roughly a year ago, I decided I wanted to give Fortnite a go.  It's been popular for years, and i was looking for something relatively mindless…
