Watched on Friday June 23, 2023. Tetris, 2023 – ★★★½
I have no idea how accurate and dramatized all this is to reality, but I found it enjoyable.
On a side note, there is something weird with the writers on these Apple+ movies, because while Luck, uttered the word "Lucky", on average, every 30 seconds (I counted), Tetris, does the same with the word "Tetris. The Super Mario Bros. Movie, 2023 – ★★★★
It's pretty simple in it's premise but it has a good overall feel like "Mario". I particularly liked the occasional bits where it would shift into a "side scrolling platform view".
Also, plenty of classic NES and Mario Easter Eggs to watch out for, plus there were some unexpected Evangelion Easter Eggs. At least they really felt like they were intentional.
