I've fixed the problems I was having with the side links. And I decided to add some nifty add baners to my page to promote some site I enjoy. Now all I need are some people to read this thing besides me. Also I am reminded once again that I need to make a my own banners for this and my Formula Sun website.

Link. It's rather lengthy actually, but it's pretty good. I suppose I'll have to start adding pictures to my articles to make them appeal those who don't like to read much. Also I would like to point out that I misspell a lot while typing and Notepad does not have a spell check feature.

In an effort to create more worthwhile content, I present for your viewing pleasure, An article based on a false point. While some of the intended humor still exhists, and it could be re written to remove the one glaringly obvious mistake, I'm not one to really screw with things once they are complete. Also, if you don't know what the mistake is, I'm not going to tell you. Sorry.

Sony as allready come out with Playstation 9 commercials...
I wasn't actually paying attention to the TV when it came on, and I vaguely heard the phrase "Playstation 9" and figured that was just completely fucking ludicrous. Then I watched the rest of hte commercial and sure enough, there is was, PS9. Sony is starting to fuck up the console industry. Personally I'm not happy with them anymore. But then later I plan to write something up cocerning my views on the whole "console wars" thing in general. Basically I plan to get a Dreamcast before a PS2. Did you know that Sony ALLREADY has the trademark for PS3? I mean, can't they come up with some halfway new names? At least Nintnedo TRIED to get new names using words like "Super" and "Sixty-Four" instead of just numbers. Heck Nintendo's new console doesn't even have the name "Nintendo" in it. Of course, the N64 doesn't either in Japan, it's the Ultra 64 oer there I think. Don't quote me on that though, I don't like to put much research into my writings.

What the fuck is going on here? Well actually Thor apparently isn't actually dead, but I read hsi site least out of Solidshark and Toastyfrog. Maybe I'll have to read it more to compensate. Now all I need is for Penny Arcade to vanish inexplicably, Greg at Real Life to get bored of doing his comic, and the Inktank Guy to get a job transfer or something. Hmm that about rounds out my list of sites I (do or did) check daily. I guess it's back to random searches for key words like "G0@T PR0N".

NES News. Not to be confused with mine.
Aughhh.... I was going to bitch about something, and then thatg something came in to redeem itself, as usual....
Instead I'll comment on THIS. Imust say I'd have bough the album anyay, because I like Smashing Pumpkins, but now, I can make a statement, AND get lots of good music for free, and LEGALLY! Er, probably legally. Either way it's approved by the band. Good job SP! Also the new MacFarlane 3D Anime toys are popping up. I picked up Keneda and his bike. The bike is so kick ass cool, I really like it. Unfortunately Keneda can't actually ride his bike, which is really stupid, but then that's the problem with McFarlane sometimes. Nice looks, little playability. Thogh sometimes the look isn't perfect. Kened looks pretty cool, but I liked the prototype head sculpt a lot better.

I realize I've had a lack of real worthwhile updates recently. Mostly because when I come up with good worthwhile ideas I'm usually a) At class, b) At work, c) Driving, or d) trying to go to sleep. Anyway, my new video card is nice. Deus Ex has all the textures it is supposed to now, I get 50 some fps instead of 20 in Half Life, I can watch and record TV through my PC, my DVD player works now, and I think it fixed my memory problem since my old card was part of the mother board (still is actually) and it was probably using the same RAM as everything else in the system.

Stupid Best Buy closes at 9....
10/13/00 4:15 PM
Lousy stupid Voodoo card, what with it's AGP hook up. Now I'll have ot wait till tomorrow to play with good graphics on Deus Ex and Half Life. My damn PC doesn't have any AGP slots, just a bunch of PCI slots.

Something I was thinking of reviving, only new and improved for the current times. I think there were eight original issues of this, but I can't find the first and fifth issues. It also had two names, the first four were NES News and the second four were NES Times. The difference was that Times had some SNES info in it. Basically the whole thing was a big self promotional thing, but looking back and re-reading it it's actually sort of funny at times. At least when we put articles in. Mostly we used filler like obvious codes top ten lists and awards. I mean, we had th eNES Awards int he second issue and it filled the same amount of space in the third issue to post the results, which also were not actuall based on anything other then the opinions of myself and Kurtis. If I actually did end up reviving it for my NES page I'd probably consider writing Kurtis to see if he wante dot come back, after all he's one of like 10 people whoi signed my guestbook. Here are the other two issues I've translated into HTML alos. These were originally in Newsmaster format, which was a bit difficult to translate over. I couldn't even print the suckers out with a copy of Newsmaster, it doesn't recognize my printer.
Issue 3
Issue 4
The Zelda 2 and Ultima articles seem surprisingly similar, and neither contain any real useful content. I remember one of the big thing "back in the day" was to erase each otehr's hard earned saved games. It was always the worst way to torment someone. Escpecially when you do it right in front of each other. "Oh look, I accidentally hit the erase key, ooops, I erased your game, Oh sorry, I didn't mean to, really!" Or the accidental erase when you hit the power without holding reset. Of course gamers nowadays have it nice with thier new fangled Memory Cards. I mean, back in my day we had to hold in reset for 15 MILES IN THE SHOW before hitting the power. And Mario did shrooms which made him super powerful, of course that was when drugs were allowed in games. Be it drug promoting games like Mario Bros. or anti drug games like NARC or whatever it was called, you know, the one that sucked. Actually I seem to recall NARC was an OK game, assuming it actually is the one I'm thinking of. Heck I'm well known at the local Babbages as "The guy who buys all our used NES games because he's too cheep to chell out 50 bucks for a new PC or PSX game. I did shell out 15 bucks for a NES game, but it was RIVER CITY RANSOM, so it's all ok. Except I'll never shell out the 50 bucks they want for used copies of Final Fantasy Tactics and Mega Man X2. That's highway robery! I'v probably gone on long enough though. all of this would have bade a fine NEW News article if I were still in the mood to make an updated version of.

I've never been grateful for Windows crashing on me until now. If my PC hadn't froze up I wouldn't have gotten up to make Lunch and take a shit, and I wouldn't have found the pot I had forgotten completely about that I had set to boil water in an hour ago. The bottom of the pot is now a (most likely) permenate attachment to the stove. Oh well, it could have been worse.
Also this is pretty funny. At least if you know anything about Beast Machines. For one, Jetstorm is grossly mistransformed. Also Injector's whole thing is just screwed up because a) It's Torca's description, b) Torca is a Whale/elephant not Whale/Bear, c) (something that is mentioned several times) the Fuzors do not battle the Transmetals for control of the galaxy. Now I'm sure the execs at eToys have no idea what a Transformer even is, but all of this is at least mentoned on the packaging of the toys they are selling. From the looks of the transformations though, they didn't give the designers the package for taking the pictures with, since the instructions are printed right on the package as well.
I also had this very nice and rather funny article I had written up in the middle of the night I wanted to post but then I realized it was based on one major factual error on my part (that is aside fromt he many factual errors I purposely inserted to make it funny). I may put it up anyway. On a related note I think I'm going to not change my crappy game page since I only came up with one article so far and it was based on a factual error.

I really hate when Windows crashes when i try to do strenuous memory hogging things like "Clicking Links" and "Moving the Mouse". And I'm sick of all the characters in Deus Ex dissaproving of my "Kill everything that moves" philosophy. I actually did listen to them a bit. I try to stun civilians, and only when provoked, I try only to shoot soldiers, or idiot mech bitches that get in my way.
10/06/00 7:50 PM
Expect less updates, well probably not really, Anyway I decided to just buy Deus Ex. It's pretty neat so far except it takes a lot more stealth than I care to care about, so I'm stuck in the first area of the first mission. And my 3D card is a piece of shit. Also got Green Day's new album, to go with my other Green day CDs.

Look for the possibility of something new in place of my worthless game site. On a related note, if you want to WRITE GAME ARTICLES that chances are no one will read, email me. The only real requirement is they need to be uproariously hilarious. Or at least maginally funny, or even downright crappy and dumb. Oh and NES related, in pretty much anyway (read, even the most remote connection). This is your chance to GET IN ON THE SECOND FLOOR! Why not the ground floor? Because I'm working on converting the ground floor into a file format that is readable by PCs newer then 1985.

My project. Not quite as spectacular as I had dreamed, but probably better then expected in the end. I never did own a real Optimus Prime toy. Instead I had an orange GoBot substitute. I remember using this GoBot as Prime, and as the leader, since well, it was a Semi, despite that, A) he was orange, B) he was not a flat front semi, C) I seem to recall that his trailer was a car carrying one, definitely not a base in disguise. Oh well, I don't recall haveing hardly any large Transformers. Mostl GoBots actually more then Transformers. I think I had Jazz, and Springer. and I must have had soundwave and thrust since I still have those two. Anyway, that is all.

Scene: Subway, I walk in, the hourly print out is going, I'm just on time as usual. I clock in, and check the report sheet to see how busy we have been.
Me: There isn't a four o clock reading, did someone forget to do it?
Coworker: It just printed up.
Me: No that's the.... It's only four isn't it? I'm not supposed to be here till five.
Coworker: Oops.
Me: Well I guess I'll see you in an hour. Later.
I clock out and leave.
Ooops... anyway, My project is done. I'd scan it up but the paint is still a little wet. So I guess it's not really done yet. I have cleaned up the paints and extra pieces though, it's standing on my desk.
Also I'm wondering why I never sat and watched this Better Off Dead movie they have been showing daily on the Comedy Channel. It's not a bad movie really. Oh well, at least it comes on almost daily so I can watch it all the way through some day.

Being sick sucks. There is nothing more pleasurable than your stomach trying to leap up your throat.

Work can get extremely boring at times. The store closes at 11 on Saturdays, I'm there alone since 8, I had everything done by about 8:30, and I only had one customer between 8:30 and 11. Basically I sat around all nigh doing nothing. And I drew this. This isn't really my opinion of the big "console wars" or whatever, I just thought it was kind of clever. If you can't tell in that pretty rought sketch job it's a PS2 crushing a Dreamcast. The original included the original PSX selling lines "Enos Lives" and "U R Not E". Also I had this really kick ass live broadcast of the Green Day concert to keep be busy as well. Despite that we are " not supposed to tought the radio" and chang3e it fromt he extremely repeditive country crap channel the owner likes, I had the thing cranked up blasting Green day all night. A really nifty tidbit, the concert was at X-Fest at Deer Creek Music Center, near Indianapolis, thing is, I used to live near this place, and listen to the X radio station all the time. I can't help but feel had I still been living there I would have been THERE AT THE CONCERT instead of listening to it over the radio. Oh well, Also my High School graduation was held at Deer Creek, so I've been backstage and on stage, er, not during a concert though I guess. I guess it's a small world after all, or something.
