One day Smurfy Smurf decides to go on a rowdy romp through the forest, while the game title suggests that there is some sort of rescue involed, this screen serves as both title and start playing screenw ith no other explanation of the plot. The smurf is relatively nondescript, they don't seemed to have tried to say, give him a red hat and beard to look more like say, Popa Smurf. |
| This scene was at first thought to be impassable. The smurf can't actually jump over the fence with a regular jump. He nees to do a double jump. Which is basically a super high jump mae by pressing the jump button twice. | |

The thing is, the regular jump is almost useless completely. Almost every jump in this game requires the use of the double jump, it makes one wonder why they didn't make the double jump standard. Even this inlet fromt he ocean needs a double jump. |
| Hell you can't even make it up these stair things with a regular jump. There are more enemies in thsi game on the :second quest". Each screen includes a raven thing that attacks you after beating it once, except the rivers, whcih contain snakes. | |

This menacing spider drops down then conveniently crawls back up to let you pass. I think maybe I'll point out at this time you can duck as well in this game, though it serves even less purpose than the regular jump. |
| The graphics on this game are actually reasonably passably good. If you can't tell that but purple thing is (or appears to be) a chair behind a table. After climbing the table, and meeing with your girlfriend (she's the onl female in the village, of course she is your girl, she's every Smurf's girl) , Smurfette, you kiss and live hapily ever after, for about 5 seconds, then you appear back at your mushroom home to do it all over again. | |

Unless you miss a jump and fall tot he floor, which kill your Smurf. Then he just sorf of lies there unlit you restart the screen. You start with like 5 lives, unless you have dificulty figuring out the jump move at the begining, you should havne no trouble with this game. Oh BTW, you've just seen every screen of this game. Alos "-0H00M50S SLP 3" is not part of the game, that's just VCR garbage. |
