Star Wars: Power of the Force (PotF)

I have found these to be very nice action figures.  Especially the newer ones.  OK so the first few Lukes were super buff and Leia was way too skinny but Kenner has redesigned most of the first characters and are planning to re-release them.  At least this is what I've heard.  I can't remember the details at the moment.  Plus they are releasing the Expanded Universe set with characters like Mara Jade, Admiral Thrawn, the Dark Trooper, and Leia Organa Solo.  Well on with other stuff.  I have so many of these that I'm only going to do actual reviews of ones that stand out.  I will list all the figures I have though.   Sorry, the pictures aren't up yet.  I havn't had time to use my uncles didgital camera.

Darth Vader with removable helmet (and hand!)- I was so happy when I finally found this figure one  day at Toys R Us (TRU).  The original Vader doesn't hold his light saber very well and his cape is  kind of large.  This figure fixes both of those problems.  Not only does he hold his light saber well  but his arm rotates at the wrist and elbow.  Plus the hand is made to be easily removed so no you   can have Luke cut it off without having to use a pair of scissors (uh, not that I cut my Vader's hand  off or uh..).  Plus the Vader I had was one of the first PotF figures and it had this long ass lightsaber  that was almost taller than the figure (yes I realize now these are somewhat rare, I also have O B Wan and Luke with long sabers).  I like the short ones much better.  This is a cool figure.

Boba Fett- I'm only reviewing this one because Fett is my favorite character.   This figure is pretty cool.  Fett has all the parts of his armor, all his (visible) equipment, pouches etc, his cape looks somewhat tattered, and he even has the two wookie scalps hanging down his from.  He includes his gun and jet pack.

Luke in Couroscant Guard Outfit- This figure is really cool looking so I had to say something about it.  I don't usually use it as Luke (If I could find another one I'd buy it and glue the helmet on and cover the neck) I usually use it as the super guard after all the flunky stormtroopers are dead.  Along with his staff he looks cool using Chewie's big gun.  This is one of the few figures I gave on my shelf as opposed to in a box with the other figures (I'd have them all out if I had the space and I used to have them all out except the Beast Wars guys take up a lot of space).

Endor Rebel Soldier- This guy has cool baggy pants and cool a cool camo outfit that's why I like him.  I usually use this character to represent "me" since he doesn't have a real name.
