I figured by now the waves of Target Exclusive basic repaints associated with the movie would be dead.  Imagine my surprise when I came across a whole new set the other day.  There was a third member, a repaint of Energon Strongarm in colors more or less resembling both his original and Botcon Fallback repaint colors that I passed on.  I did pick up These two, Storm Surge and Warpath.

Storm Surge, while not perfect, could make a very nice “Classics Seaspray” if you need such a thing.  His Orange White and Blue is a decent match for Seaspray’s White Blue and Yellow.  The mold is still a little awkward to pose however.

Warpath is kind of interesting.  He’s not a tank but he’s got the same color as his old tank form.  Also the use of the name suggests that Hasbro may be “picking up the rights” so we may get a proper “Classics Warpath” in the future.  I would have picked this guy up regardless of the name.  I love his colors.  The red and black accented with “Allspark Power Blue” work really well together.
