Most units in Attacktix are Shooters, with a fair number of Strikers thrown in (mostly in Star Wars). There are a few one or two shot special units that give some variation of the standard themes. Skorponok is one of those variations. For lack of a better description, he’s a Scooper. There is also a large sized Mega Transformers scooper and I believe there are a couple of Star Wars themed scoopers.
His attack is unique in that it is not activated or controlled by a spring. Instead it’s 100% human powered. This of course makes him insanely lethal since a person’s strength far overpowers that of a small spring. The idea on Skorponok is to stick the scooper arm under another unit then “fling” the opponent unit knocking him over. It actually works nearly 100% of the time and if you’re good you can throw one unit into a group of other units and score a multikill.
Even better, his many sloping surfaces make him difficult to kill with missiles making it easier to get in close. This makes Skorponok a very strong and lethal unit ont he battlefield certainly worthy of being in any army.
