Just a quick note, the Gold base figure pictured here is from the “Galactic Showdown” Starter set. This set features three Star Wars Attacktix figures and three Transformers Attacktix figures. I picked mine up on clearance for less than the cost of a booster pack, the set is great at that price. The original MSRP I beleive is $30 dollars which is a bit steep for what you get.
However, the point is, this figure is nearly identical to the Booster pack version except it has a different special ability.
Optimus Prime, without a doubt, is the most difficult to defeat figures in the Transformers line up. Probably in all of the Attacktix line up. He is huge, bulky, and heavy. He’s also fairly squared off with a low center of gravity. His huge missile just helps this even more. However if you can get up behind him he actually falls fairly easily every time.
He also features a pretty unique missile. It’s quite a bit larger than other missiles, which helps take out oppenents fairly eaily. However it’s kind of heavy so it doesn’t go particularly far.
Still, his defense alone makes him wholey worthwhile to keep in your army. The black base one has the special power of Transformation that can help extend his life a bit beyond death as well.
