Hammer time!
My boss offered me money for lunch today since I’m driving to Champaign to pick up our new digital reciever for the CW. I went to McDonalds and boguth a Happy Meal. You know, because they are currently filled with Mario goodness.
Actually compared to the old toys, they are kind of dumb. I hate when they mix a gimmick in with something that doesn’t match it. Hey, let’s take mario, and make sports items! The idea here is to get kids to “Take the Mario Challenge”. The bag also suggest you “Take the Donkey Kong Challengs” as well as “Take the yoshi Challenge”.
It would seem the “Yoshi Challenge” is to “knock your teeth out. One fo the suggested activities is…
“Have a friend toss different sports balls in the air and catch them like yoshi would catch fruit.”
In all of the Mario games I’ve played involving Yoshi, Yoshi “catches” fruit with is tongue.
This can only lead to disaster.
Speaking of leading to disaster, I got a Hammer Brothers Mallet masquarading as a tenis racket.
I should go back and pick up a few dozen more of these so I can whip them at passing pedestrians while leaping from platform to platform.
